Accountancy Recruit have another Financial Controller job vacancy for a Milton Keynes based client – handled by our South East team

We are delighted to be recruiting for this international business’s UK division a Finance Controller. Reporting to the UK Managing Director you remit will be to efficiently manage the finance department for two UK divisions and deliver strategic and operational goals. You will provide analytical support and reporting to the directors and Head Office. The duties of the role will include:

• Identify and implement opportunities to drive profitability, reduce financial risks, and manage working capital.
• Appraisal and analysis of commercial opportunities.
• Support and challenge key stakeholders to provide a clear understanding of cost/income drivers and underlying business assumptions
• Management of Finance Dept including recruitment, performance management, coaching, training and development.
• Lead the budgeting processes.
• Partner Heads of Operational and Sales Departments to take corrective action and deliver targets
• Provide 12 month rolling forecasts for sales and purchasing.
• Financial and Management Accounts, Treasury, VAT, Credit Control, Cash flow, Working Capital, Corporate Governance, and Corporation tax.
• Responsibility for in-house payroll
