Accountancy Recruit have another Purchase Ledger Clerk Vacancy for a Poole based client which is being handled by our South East team

We are looking for an exceptional purchase ledger clerk /accounts clerk to form an integral part of our clients accounts team.  Reporting to the accounts manager and working within a small team of five your role will be varied and challenging.  Whilst you will have end to end responsibility for the purchase ledger you will also be involved with many aspects of accounts including:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Petty cash
  • Ad hoc accounting duties as required

This is a great opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger/accounts clerk who has worked within a busy and fast paced accounts environment for a minimum of 12months.  You will have the opportunity to take ownership for your role and shape the processes and procedures as required.  You will have a high attention to detail, a genuine interest in accounts (possibly having studies or be studying your AAT) and be a confident self starter.  You will enjoy a lively working environment, a good salary and free parking.
