Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Assistant Vacancy for a Bristol based client which is being handled by our South West team

This privately owned family business who operate within the care sector are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their dedicated accounts department.  The role will be varied, and as you grow within the company there will be a real chance for you to develop your experience within the department.

Initially you will be responsible for:

  • Purchase ledger invoice entry
  • Petty cash entry
  • Credit card entry
  • Phone queries
  • Payment of supplier accounts online
  • Disputes & process management
  • Ad hoc financial reporting as required


We are  looking for someone who is confident, outgoing and can work at speed!  You will be proficient with excel and have used accounts packages previously.  This is a great role for an ambitious accounts clerk/accounts assistant who is willing to start in an account clerk position and work their way up to be assisting with month end accounting duties.  You will be rewarded well for the role with a salary of between £18-20k.
