Accountancy Recruit have another Credit Controller Vacancy for a Nottingham based client which is being handled by our Midlands team

We are looking for a customer focused credit controller who is a natural relationship builder to join this very diverse business on a 12 month contract.  Working within a small close knit credit control team you will have responsibility for your own part of the ledger where you will be expected to chase payments and undertake all sales ledger duties for your loyal customers.  The role reports to the credit control manager.  Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting debt collection by telephone, letters, faxes, and emails
• Proactively dealing with and resolving customer account and payment queries
• Responsible for assessing credit risk of new customers, and vetting new orders
• Regular reviewing and monitoring of held orders
• Responsible for inputting cash on to customers’ accounts
• Supporting with daily banking
• Processing credit/debit card payments, and daily credit card to cash posted reconciliations
• Reviewing ongoing queries and after sales complaints with Customer Services
• Maintaining customers’ credit limits and regularly reviewing ongoing potential risk
• Maintain orderly and reconciled sales ledgers on customers’ accounts
• Preparing documents and customer debt files for legal action

The company have a very loyal customer base and as such it is essential that you can build rapport quickly in order to continue the excellent level of customer service that the clients have been used to.  This role is ideally suited to a credit controller or accounts clerk who is looking to work in a supportive environment.  You will be a team player and willing to help across the department.  Upon starting the role, you will receive the required training in order to succeed.
