Accountancy Recruit have another Financial Controller Vacancy for a Nottingham based client which is being handled by our Midlands team

We are looking for temporary Financial Controller for this local family business who are a subsidiary of a multinational organisation to assist with a period of transition.  The role is offered initially for a three month contract, following which you would have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role. We are looking for a qualified accountant who will report on all site related financial issues. Working alongside a small team you will be responsible for the following:

• To ensure all departmental KPIs are achieved
• To provide financial support to internal departments
• To produce monthly accounts
• To prepare annual budget
• To maintain books of accounts
• Responsible for external year-end audit ensuring all legal requirements are met
• Set up and manage financial controls, cash forecasts and cash management with bank facilities
• Manage the finance department cost centre in line with budget

This is an excellent role for an experienced qualified accountant who can demonstrate a track record of successful financial management within a manufacturing or similar industry. It is essential you can hit the ground running and have operated in a financial controller/ finance manager position recently. To be successful in the role you must have a great attention to detail, be able to lead by example and have excellent communication and time management skills.
