Accountancy Recruit have another Finance Manager Vacancy for a Sheffield based client which is being handled by our Yorkshire team
This role is being offered on a full or part time basis depending on the candidate.
This successful import business are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to form an integral part of their team. Working within a small but busy office your role will be to manage to company finances and report to the board on all aspect of the accounts. You will take on the day to day processing of the accounts through to producing month end reports to be reviewed by the directors. You will liaise with the company accountants and be the first point of contact for all finance related issues. The role will encompass:
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Analysis of the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Cash-flow forecasting
- All aspects of general bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Intrastat returns
- Bank reconciliation, transfers and general maintenance
- Liaising with invoice financing company
The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant who is used to liaising at a senior level and being involved with strategic business decisions. You will have excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to prioritise your work load. The company use Xero accounting package and it would be a distinct advantage if you have used this system previously. The office environment is very friendly and down to earth and would suit someone who is hard working and dedicated. The role could be offered on a part time basis for the right candidate and would suit an experienced company accountant, financial controller or finance manager.
