Accountancy Recruit have another Financial Controller Vacancy for a Watford based client which is being handled by our South East team

We are assisting one of the most exciting companies in Financial Services in the UK who are looking for an experience Financial Controller/Management Accountant.  The ideal candidate will be a mature, technical and commercially minded individual with experience of the following:

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of management accounts for the management team, including variance reporting
• Managing daily cash flow across different entities
• Personal taxation and VAT calculations
• Complex commission calculations and performance-related pay

The most suited candidates will have worked within the professional services industry and will be:

• Experienced with Excel [ Pivot table and VLOOKUP level]
• Very comfortable with SAGE
• Familiar with what is required to stay compliant with HMRC and Companies House
• Have previous management experience with excellent people skills
• A results-focused, energetic, and super bright numbers person who thrives in a fast-moving environment

This is a very exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic fast paced environment where  you can deploy your skills in the automation of effective financial systems so that you can streamline all aspects of the finance function. The role would ideally suit an ambitious management accountant or experienced financial controller/finance manager who has operated within a service business recently.
