Accountancy Recruit  have another Management Accountant Vacancy for a Milton Keynes based client which is being handled by our South East team

Our client, a market leading manufacturing business with multiple brands within the UK and Europe are looking to recruit a management accountant on a full time basis for a minimum 4 month contract.  The role is to assist the business with all aspects of management accounting during a restructuring period. Reporting to the financial Controller your role will include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, annual budgets, commentaries and financial statements.
• Undertaking financial administration and internal audits.
• Developing and managing financial systems/policies.
• Negotiating and obtaining terms for major projects.
• Controlling income and expenditure.
• Determining and prepare standard costs of products, processes, projects.
• Assist in month-end management accounts and reports within deadlines.
• Inventory reconciliation, management & resolving queries.
• Maintaining slow moving stock provision.
• Yearly reporting of Waste Legislation.
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues to ensure correct information is captured and reported.
