Accountancy Recruit  have another Management Accountant Vacancy for a Manchester based client which is being handled by our North West team

Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a client in Manchester and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team.  This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change.

The Senior Management Accountant will be required to:

• Manage a small team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports to provide senior leadership with insight and meaningful management information.
• Implement improvements and automate internal processes to drive efficiency and ensure accuracy of information. Fine tune the month end process.
• Assist with the year end statutory audit.
• Provide input for system upgrade and challenge ways of working.

The Senior Management Accountant will have the following experience:

• Fully qualified Management Accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Experience of delivering financial change projects.
• Proven experience of managing small teams.
• Track record of improving month end processes and working to tight deadlines to produce management accounts and management reporting.
• Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
