Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Assistant Vacancy for a Poole based client which is being handled by our South West team

Full and Part-Time Considered

We are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to form an integral part of the finance function for our client based in Poole.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director your role will be varied and challenging and you will need to be organised, self motivated and comfortable with accounts preparation and producing monthly management accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Cash flow statements
  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts
  • Purchase ledger duties including processing payments
  • Preparing ad hoc financial reports for review by the board.

This is an excellent role for the right candidate who can demonstrate they have an aptitude for finance. There is a real opportunity to take on additional responsibilities within the role once you have proved yourself, and you will also have the chance to mentor other team members.
This role is ideally suited to a Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant who is looking for a more autonomous position. Whilst this is a full time role, candidates looking for part-time will also be considered (min 25hrs per week).
