Accountancy Recruit have another Finance Manager Vacancy for a Liverpool based client which is being handled by our North West team

Accountancy Recruit are partnering with an SME in the construction sector to appoint a Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and manage the office.  The Finance Manager will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), have remarkable commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade and influence. The Finance Manager will be the number one finance person internally working closely with the external accounting firm.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• VAT, PAYE and Corporate Tax Returns
• Improve processes and systems to drive efficiency
• Oversee cash flow management
• Manage budgeting and forecasting process, including variances
• Develop relationships with external advisors, banks, external accountant
• Deliver on HMRC reporting
• Complete VAT returns
• Review spending against budget and provide insight to the management team
• Reconcile balance sheets
• Understand regulation, legislation and industry developments and how they will impact the business
