Our client is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager for a centralised Finance Team in a multi-million-pound organisation. This pivotal role reports directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, and requires a commercially aware and astute Finance Manager. The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with staff of all levels, and be able to positively influence and engage staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Line management of the Finance Team, ensuring rigorous reviews and challenge of management accounting, reporting and analysis.
- Ensuring that transaction operations are efficient and controlled.
- Holding to account, monitoring performance and driving quality.
- Continuous training and development of the finance team.
- Production of monthly management accounts for all locations.
- Financial forecasting and planning.
- Budget setting, control and monitoring.
- Financial business partner to colleagues managing revenue generating activities.
- Payroll management.
- Ownership of the financial database, and the Payroll / HR Database.
- Adherence to strict compliance guidelines.
- Project based transfers in of new additions to the trust.
- Support the Director of Finance and Operations in preparation of statutory accounts, and readiness for annual financial audit.
- Process control of staff contracts, and amendments, and internal and external statistical returns with respect to staff.
To apply, you will need to have line managed a finance team of at least 10 staff across multi sites. You must have produced management accounts, and have experience budget planning, and working with stakeholders. You will also be a highly confident financial planner / forecaster and have confidence with Operational Process Management, be a confident and clear communicator, and have the ability to engage and inspire staff.
