Accountancy Recruit have another Commercial Financial Analyst Vacancy for a Bolton based client which is being handled by our North West team

Commercial Finance Analyst to work closely with operations and management to provide real time support and analysis to aid in decision making. The Commercial Finance Analyst will develop strong relationships with the marketing and purchasing teams to deliver projects. The Commercial Finance Analyst will be required to:

• Deliver high quality insight to enable more informed commercial decision making including supporting the purchasing team with quarterly buying strategies.
• Support retail stores to drive sales and margin at a local level, providing analytics and MI to help stores drive profitability.
• Determine the true cost of sale with a view to minimise costs and maximise margin.
• Supporting the merchandising team with forecasting by brand.
• Provide weekly reporting around seasonality and terminal stock reporting, open to buy, pre and post promotional analysis.

The Commercial Finance Analyst will have the following experience:

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to turn complex data from multiple sources in to simple actionable insights and be able to explain complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
• Desirable qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
• Degree educated
• Experience in retail with a commercial understanding of key commercial drivers and how insight can drive decision making.
