Accountancy Recruit  have another Management Accountant Vacancy for a Wilmslow based client which is being handled by our North West team

Accountancy Recruit has an opportunity for a Management Accountant to be based in Alderley Edge.  We are looking for a part qualified or recently qualified management accountant to produce monthly reporting and to assist with statutory reporting.  The Management Accountant will be required to:

• Produce month end and year end journals
• Prepare statutory and management accounts and analysis
• Analyse financial information to provide insight and assist business profitability and growth
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentaries
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts
• Assessment of monthly expenses

To be successful in this role the Management Accountant will have the following experience:

• Studying towards an accountancy qualification  (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
• Thorough understanding of management information systems
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial
• Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen
• Dynamic, committed and experienced
