Accountancy Recruit have another Financial Accountant Vacancy for an Altrincham based client which is being handled by our North West team

Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a client in Altrincham and we have an opportunity for a part qualified Accountant to join a growing business.  The Accountant will support year end and be responsible for ensuring that the day to day operations are recorded accurately and assisting with the production of monthly management accounts.

The Assistant Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Day to day reporting, high volume reconciliations, accruals, bad debt provision, prepayments and posting journals.
• Owning the month end process and reviewing the P&L, balance sheet and trial balance.
• Working closely with Management Accountant to review management accounts.
• Assisting with the audit for an overseas subsidiary and understanding reporting requirements, working with external accountants.
• Providing assistance and support for statutory accounts production.
• Supporting the Financial Controller to ensure internal controls are in place and improving processes where required.
• Managing key stakeholders within the business and providing insight on performance.

In order to be successful in this role the Assistant Accountant will be part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), study support is available with this position.
