Accountancy Recruit have another Group Reporting Accountant Vacancy for a Runcorn based client which is being handled by our North West team

Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a client in Runcorn to appoint a Group Reporting Accountant.  The role would suit someone from an Audit background with 3-5 years post qualification experience. The Group Reporting Accountant will have qualified in a top 10 firm.

The Group Reporting Accountant will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, consolidated accounts and report to European Head Office.
• Prepare year end statutory accounts, annual budgets and forecast. 
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packs and support the preparation of quarterly and budget management packs for the UK leadership team. 
• Prepare corporation tax accounting and liaise with tax advisors, ensuring all filings are accurate and on time. Prepare and maintain statutory tax reporting requirements and policies.
• Act as the point of contact for group auditors.

To be successful in this role the Group Reporting Accountant will have the following experience:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with 3-5 years post qualification experience.
• Proven track record of preparing and analysing detailed management and statutory accounts.
• Ability and experience of clearly explaining financial results to finance and non-finance leadership teams.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Experience within a group function and consolidating accounts.
