Accountancy Recruit have another Management Accountant Vacancy for a York based client which is being handled by our Yorkshire team

This vibrant business who have an enviable client following are looking to recruit a Project Accountant to provide a knowledge and experience within finance department.  Your focus will be to ensure all project accounting reporting requirements are met and that all activities within the finance reporting function are sufficiently performed, an area that is at the heart of developing the strategy of the business.  To be successful in the position you will be experienced at liaising with Project/Department Managers on operational and strategic finance related issues, managing project cash flows, holding regular project reviews with operational teams on performance information, forecasting and analysis and ensuring all project billing is up-to-date.

This role would suit an ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with relevant experience of project accounting who has strong excel skills including the use of advanced functions and spread sheet modelling.

It is essential that you have recent project accounting experience and can demonstrate value add within your previous roles.  Due to the demanding nature of the clients the business work with, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships both internally and externally.
