Accountancy Recruit have another Payroll Manager Vacancy for an Essex based client which is being handled by our South East team

This market leading logistics business who have operations throughout Europe are looking to recruit a highly motivated payroll expert to assist with continuous improvement and process implementation across their busy payroll team.  The role will involve:

  • Reviewing all ongoing processes with a view to improvement & development
  • Assisting management in the selection and implementation of a new payroll system
  • Production of various reports for internal and external use
  • Ensuring payroll compliance with all associated payroll and pension regulations
  • Administering various bonus schemes including appropriate accounting provisions
  • Producing various reports for review by the board
  • Reconciliation of various payroll accounts
  • Audit Liaison on special payroll reporting
  • Payroll accruals for monthly accounting.

The ideal candidate will be qualified within payroll (although this is not essential) and possess a strong working knowledge of current payroll/PAYE legislation and pension administration. You will be adept on payroll systems and be used to providing an analytical view on payroll related matters.  It is essential that you are a strong communicator and able to liaise with senior management.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate; you will enjoy a generous salary and the opportunity to progress.
