Accountancy Recruit have another Part-Time Bookkeeper Vacancy for a St Albans based client which is being handled by our South East team

Our client, a very well established leisure facility are looking to recruit a bookkeeper on a part time basis to assist with day to day accounting duties. Reporting to the general manager your role will be varied and include the preparation of accounts up to trail balance.
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Management of sales ledger
  • Management of purchase ledger including processing payments
  • Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions (using SAGE)
  • Maintaining fixed asset register
  • Preparing cash and bank reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Preparing schedules, statements and reports
  • Preparing required information for payroll services
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting

This is a great opportunity to join a very stable team on a part time basis. The hours are flexible and could be worked over three days or four/five shorter days if preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be used to supporting senior management from a financial view point. You will be proactive and ready to challenge the existing processes to ensure the timely and accurate production of the accounts.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced bookkeeper looking for a part time role for 20-25 hours.
