Accounts Manager, Edinburgh, Scotland

Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Manager Vacancy for an Edinburgh based client which is being handled by our Scotland team

Our client have recently undergone exciting changes within the business and are now looking for an Accounts Manager to strengthen their team.  Reporting day to day to the operations team, and monthly to the US parent company your role will be varied and challenging covering all aspects of finance, including:

  • Processing and reporting on accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Payroll
  • Cash management including cash forecasting
  • Month-end duties including calculating accruals and prepayments, depreciation and VAT returns
  • Year-end transactions including the preparation of financial statements
  • Responsible for the coordination of the annual audit performed by USA parent company’s auditors and any applicable local statutory audit
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Producing weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Ad hoc finance related duties and other office administration duties as required.

This is a great role for someone looking for an all-encompassing finance position within a progressive and diverse business.  You may be working in a similar role and looking for a change, or you may have a narrow remit in your current position and be looking to take on a wider scope.  To be considered for the role you will have a minimum of five years relevant finance experience and be used to working under your own initiative.
