Accountancy Recruit have another Senior Bookkeeper Vacancy for a Bedford based client which is being handled by our South East team

We are delighted to be assisting this well-established accountancy practice in their search for a senior bookkeeper.  This is a very unique role that will offer the right candidate a chance to grow within the firm and really add value to the business and their experience.

The role will be two-fold – you will have responsibility for bookkeeping for a set of key clients where you will undertake the following duties alongside a small team

• To oversee and review staff and client preparation of VAT returns, EC sales listings, Intrastat Reports, and other filings
• To liaise with clients and obtain required documentation prior to submission deadlines
• To submit returns and liaise with HMRC
• To work with senior management in allocation and monitoring of work

Along side this you will also take on responsibility for onboarding and managing the firms cloud offering.  You will work alongside the clients of the firm to offer support and training on the Zero system and become the designated lead across the business.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper/ accounts assistant looking to take on a fresh and exciting challenge.  You will be a natural communicator who enjoys variety within your role.  Whilst having Zero experience would be advantageous, someone who is experienced on other accounts packages and can adapt to new systems easily would also be considered
