Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Manager Vacancy for a Hatfield based client which is being handled by our South East team
We are looking for a highly competent accounts manager/bookkeeper to join this family friendly business who are niche suppliers within the building/ construction industry.

We are looking for a candidate who can show commitment to the role and really shape this financial reporting structure to ensure management information is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
The duties of the role will include:
- Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
- Management of sales ledger
- Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
- Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
- Managing client invoices & payments
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts
- Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns
- Preparing schedules, statements and reports as requested
- Improve efficiencies and reduce company costs
- Put in place robust financial systems and processes
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Oversee cash flow management
- Manage budgeting and forecasting process, including variances
- Deliver on HMRC reporting
- Complete VAT returns
- Reconcile balance sheets
- Understand regulation, legislation and industry developments and how they will impact the business
This is a great role for an experienced company accountant/bookkeeper/accounts manager who can demonstrate a hands on approach. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to lead a small team, and you will have a very keen eye for detail.
