Accountancy Recruit have another Management Accountant Vacancy for a Crawley based client which is being handled by our South East team

We are looking for a senior management accountant to join this family orientated business.  The role will work alongside the company management team to help with decision making for forming business strategy. You will be responsible for providing all the financial management information in a timely and accurate fashion.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries
• Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
• Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts
• Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Produce annual statutory accounts in management accounts format
• Liaise with Auditors.
• Oversee all activities related to HMRC tax compliance issues (VAT, Payroll etc)
• Manage capital expenditure
• Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets
• Treasury functions, bank reconciliations etc.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Manage Finance Department of 3 staff covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Payroll including day-to-day communication and motivation as well as succession planning and performance management

This is an excellent role for a qualified accountant with significant experience of operating at management accountant level. We are looking for an analytical individual who can manage, delegate, motivate, and monitor team activity.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
