Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Assistant Vacancy for a Camberley based client which is being handled by our South East team
Our client, a reputable business with a nationwide presence are looking to recruit an Account Manager to look after their finance function in an organised and timely fashion. Reporting to the MD, with accountancy support from across the group, your role will encompass:
- Preparation of accurate P&L and Balance Sheet reports to Trial Balance
- Daily bank reconciliation and ensuring cheques and cash bank daily as required
- Processing supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Credit control
- Arranging supplier payments runs (BACS & Faster payments)
- Processing monthly payroll and carrying out all other payroll & HMRC requirements
- Maintaining cash flow forecasts on daily basis
- Ensure accurate allocation of all income and costs through Xero
- Full control and reconciliation of cash sales
- Ensure Pension contributions are deducted accurately and paid over to pension provider
- Control of employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions
The successful candidate will have experience of producing a set of accounts to Trial Balance, you will be accurate with good communication skills. You will have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems and ideally you will have experience of working in a family business. This role is ideally suited to an experience bookkeeper/accounts manager/accounts assistant looking for take ownership of their workload.
