Accountancy Recruit have another Financial Accountant Vacancy for a Cardiff based client which is being handled by our Wales team

We are looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join this stable manufacturing business on a 12-month contract basis.  Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be varied in nature and provide you with the opportunity to produce financial reports and assist with the analysis of those reports.  The main duties of the role will include:

• Internal & group management reporting
• Manage Internal Control processes
• Manage all local financial processing
• Manage Interactions with Finance Shared Service Centres
• Manage month end close activities
• VAT & Intrastat Returns
• Support external & internal audit processes

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified account to work within a focussed and busy finance department.  You will have a proven track record of working across various departments within a business and have excellent communication skills.  The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with a proven work history of operating within a similar technical role. You will be an organised individual who can manage your time effectively and to tight deadlines. This role is ideally suited to a Financial Accountant/Management Accountant/Plant Accountant/Factory Accountant/Company Accountant looking to enhance their career.
