Accountancy Recruit have another Accounts Manager Vacancy for a Northampton based client which is being handled by our Midlands team
Our client, a niche service provider within the technology sector are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts/Office Manager to assist them with the accounts preparation up to trail balance. This is a very varied role within a dynamic business and you will have the chance to utilise a wide range of skills on a daily basis. You will be the sole person responsible for the accounts and report them monthly to the group head office.
The duties of the role will include:
- Production of accounts to trail balance
- Management of sales ledger including raising invoices and credit control
- Management of the purchase ledger and dealing with queries
- Monthly close down of the ledgers
- Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
- Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
- Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns
- Preparing schedules, statements and reports as requested
- Managing the company expenses and credit cards.
This is a very hands on role and would suit an organised and efficient person. It is essential you are self-motivated and are happy to take responsibility within the working environment. You will have a very a strong background within accounting and be comfortable assisting with administration time permitting. The role is being offered on a full or part time basis, with a minimum for 28hours and ideally suited to an experienced office manager/bookkeeper/accounts manager/accounts assistant who is looking for autonomy within their role.
