Accountancy Recruit have another Assistant Management Accountant Vacancy for a Manchester based client which is being handled by our North West team

Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant/Company Accountant to form an integral part of their finance team.  The company are experiencing a period of exciting growth at present and this role will support those plans.  Working within a small team you will be responsible for:

• Managing the sales and purchase ledger
• Processing payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Resolving queries
• Cashflow forecasting
• Processing payroll
• Reconciliation of VAT accounts
• Assist with preparation on the Company’s monthly management accounts
• Assisting with preparation of annual budgets
• Maintaining the Company’s financial forecasting models

This is an excellent all-round accounts position.  You will have exposure to all areas of accounting and be expected to work in a timely and accurate manner.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years relevant recent all-round accounts experience.  The ideal candidate will be used to using Excel and ideally have used Xero.  This position is ideally suited to a bookkeeper/accounts manager/assistant accountant/company accountant wanting to working for a progressive business.
