Accountancy Recruit have another Credit Controller job vacancy for a Glasgow based client – handled by our Scotland team

We are looking for an experienced credit controller for a well-established business in Glasgow.  Working within a small team and reporting to the credit manager, your role will be a mix of credit control and sales ledger duties.

You will be responsible for:

• Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments
• Negotiating re-payment plans
• Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
• Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
• Posting and allocating cash payments to accounting systems

We are looking for an experienced credit controller who can bring with them fresh ideas and someone who has a proactive approach to professional development.  The successful applicant will be:

• Able to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
• Abie to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
• Calm and confident in manner and be able to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
